This keyboard uses Brown switches. They're very light to the touch and press down easily. It does have a feedback bump before hitting the bottom. It is not loud at all, the only sound is when the key itself hits the bottom of the keyboard. This is easily one of the best mechanical keyboards I have used to date. It is decently heavy for it's size and is very well made.
