We have two of these now. They are very good quality - solid wood & metal. It is study and I have no doubt it will last a long time. We’ve had our other one for 3 years now and it’s still amazing. I highly recommend.Have had the desk for about 2 years and still working great. I moved recently and the crank was damaged. Contacted customer service and received a new crank in about a week. Very pleased with this seller.Super easy for this female to assembly! So happy you can pick which end to put the crank handle on, as I needed it on the left side due to needing to put the right corner up against a wall to not block pathway out our front door. Now I have a super functional work station with it added to my already large wall desk, in a nice "L" shape layout. Was able to move my printer, Dymo Labelwriter 4XL and audio speaker onto the corner, plus still have lots of space left for my laptop, mouse pad, mouse and space left over for my writing tablets. Love the Walnut table top, it's a nice combo. of lighter with the darker wood grain. But be advised trying to get packaged box inside the house from delivery point can be tricky by yourself, it's super heavy, frame parts are mostly what is super heavy. But so worth it for how sturdy this table ends up being once assembled! Top is a pressed wood with a veener coating,, but still nice and sturdy enough for my needs, just don't do something silly like try and sit on top of it! Also make for sure to get all the bolts as tight as possible while assembling & moving on to each step, because you'll need to tip the frame over ontop the table top to fasten it to the frame & if not fastened tight enough table wants to twist while trying to turn over. It's kind of tricky with getting it flipped back upright if doing it alone, but it's doable, just flip from the center and possibly use your feet to prop it off the floor to reach under with your hands to get a good hold to turn back over. lolThis desk is great, it's everything I wanted in a standing desk: simple, spacious, and easy to move. It fits all my hard drives, a second monitor, laptop stand, mouse, and keyboard, and doesn't feel crammed in. The wheels came in handy when I moved, although I was always concerned about the legs caving inward, since there's nothing in the center to stop them from doing so (but they never did).I saw complaints about the crank but so far I've had no issues with it. The crank works great. Although, when you crank it up, the whole desk shakes as you do it depending on the amount of weight you have on top of it. But, for daily use it doesn't shake and is very sturdy, which is what matters to me.It's also pretty tough to assemble on your own. But somehow I did it. I recommend doing it with two people, haha.Design and concept are great. Love it! Five stars. BUT Packing concept is BAD—awful heavy to be delivered by one person (as delivery companies usually work). The metal parts are way too heavy to be packed with the top (compound wood). It is a call for disaster. After assembling the desktop, I realized the crack on the top. Since it was done, I decided to let go. However, the crack is more visible after two weeks. For the price, I expect to have a better experience with the product. Three stars. I got also the keyboard tray.I already had a stand-up desk, and wanted another one next to it to extend the work surface. I really have no complaints about this one. The instructions were easy to understand. Having assembled many things in my life I was especially wary of how sometimes things are a left or right or up or down but don't appear to be - and then you realize it after it's half assembled! The parts from my inspection all appeared to be completely symmetric. So in that regard, no way to mess that up. Also, it was nice that I could use either wheels on it or use the regular feet. It was well wrapped in the box. The only minor point is that the table top is secured with four screws near the corners. There was a very small gap between the table top and frame in the very middle of the table top, so that tended to create a noise when I leaned against it. But I just stuffed a few Post-it notes between the top and frame and voila! Problem solved! One comment though - I got the 56" but would have preferred the longer table. But the longer table had a ridiculous charge for shipping. The 56" table was free shipping. Makes no sense to me.Got the product today and assembled it. Liked it.Here are pros and consPros:1) Strong and Sturdy Base2) Easy to assemble - took 1.5 hr - Manual had all instructions clearly articulated. Although did not use it, helpline number in the manual gives some confidence.3) It has option of using wheels/castor or having it fixed.4) 26 inch depth dimension makes it easy to move across rooms without dismantling it.(Note: 48 and 60 inch have higher depth).5) Easy to crank. Cons:1) Top wooden board could have been little thicker.suggestion:Round or bevel edges may be better than sharp square edges.Crank extends/projects outside the desk, would bebetter if concealed below the desk top.The first desk arrived damaged and had to be returned. Second desk arrived damaged, but minor and we didn't realize until after it was assembled, so just decided it was good enough. It raises and lowers as expected and rolls/locks in to place nicely. If you are a 6" tall person or taller, this will be fine. If you are shorter, the lowest setting will be too tall. I'm happy with it, but would really like it if it went a few inches lower to the floor. I could take off the wheels and it would be shorter, but I specifically got it with wheels so I could optimize space usage.
