had this desk for a few weeks now, no real complaints to be had so far. i'm very happy with this purchase! overall it's a solid desk when built well, that is reliable and looks great. great storage space and workspace size.so, i'd wager that the majority of review complaints are due to user error- poor assembly, poor install, assembling unleveled, etc, just people generally expecting more than they should and not having common sense or following instructions carefully.but firstly, yes the instructions are not very great. but if the instructions were better, it would cost more money! the top will need to be secured with locking cam nuts, which if you are not familiar with they may confuse you for a bit.some of the orientations of the items in the instructions is also unclear, but it would be very hard to ruin your desk during assembly/install. just take your time and *don't make this your first furniture install* and it will be fine.i've seen an error message once or twice but i've been able to ignore it. just be sure your desk and control unit are assembled on and function on a level surface, nothing is blocking the upward or downward movement, and you should never have a problem.you will need to drill 4 holes, 2 to mount the control unit and another 2 to mount the panel. and if i had to be picky, the desk paneling color is a darker, blacker finish than the photos which show a slightly more deep brown finish. but, it doesn't bother me at all.overall, for the price you probably cannot find a better desk with dual motors, drawers, and a monitor riser. as long as you're familiar with a drill and a screwdriver, this is the desk for you.if not, go to officemax and have them install a much more expensive desk for you. ;)Seriously I have never see such useless instructions in my life. They told me to use the wrong screws to mount table to stand, putting the top section on was literally 4 pictures with ZER0 instructions- no what parts to use, what goes where, etc.....The other issue is the "mounting" of the handset and power brick, from the "instructions" I had no clue what to do, I used the line snaps to mount the handset (not even sure if that was the right thing to do) and it is very wabbly, I will probably get some 3M double sided tape to fix that. I still haven't figured out how I am supposed to mount the power brink to the desk.I get to work from home during this pandemic, after work a few months from my regular office desk. My sciatica back getting worse, I need something more ego friendly. After some researches, I decided to give this standing desk a try. it proved this is a perfect choice. This adjustable standing desk is better quality than I expected. Very solid, excellent quality and gorgeous design. Most importantly, the features of adjustable desk, I can move around from sitting to stand up easily through out the day. It's smooth and quite even I can use it while talking to a customer. After more than 30 days use this standing desk, it help ease my sciatica back pain. I felt much better. It make my work environment much more relax and enjoyable. There are also two drawers in the middle for storage. I also bought a standing desk mat go with it. It's great help by standing for a long time. So far so good. Totally worth my investment. I am planning to buy another one for my husband home office.I really love the look and feel of this desk; however, the bottom stand does not match up to the actual desk. Both sides look like they do in the picture where the holes in the stand to screw into the desk are short by an inch or two.Works as advertised and is pretty good quality. I had an issue with assembly and company sent me a new part right away. Height adjustment is smooth and has good range.I love this desk. I've been thinking about getting an adjustable standing desk for a while, did a lot of research and this is the perfect desk. I love the riser for the monitors. The desk can accommodate for two monitors.It took us (2 people) about an hour to assemble the desk. And it came with everything we needed for install. The instructions were easy to follow.Highly recommend.Because you bend over and sit for a long time, the height-adjustable table can be adjusted, and you can stand for a while when you are tired from work, which can reduce the pressure on the spine. The lift table can also create a comfortable office area similar to an office, improve work efficiency, and it is a must-have furniture for people who work and study at a desk for a long time!
