I needed this to use as a “project” desk; to keep my work desk relatively clear for daily work. I didn’t need drawers of any kind. It is the exact color as seen in the picture, exact dimensions given in the description and easy to put together. It took a little time, about an hour, but with only a couple of problems when I didn’t pay attention to the pics. (A backwards shelf doesn’t have the screw holes on the correct side?) The cross pieces added for stability, are necessary because of the lack of drawers which would add that stability. The supports match the color of the desk and don’t take anything away from the nice appearance. The shelves on the side are perfect for any containers for pencils and such. I have two cacti and a scented wax warmer on the top shelf. It looks beautiful and I would highly recommend this to anyone with similar needs such as I’ve described. (Also, it came in a timely manner and was in a box and completely surrounded in formed styrofoam. No damage of any kind.)This desk isn't really big or really small, it is just there in the middle, I am able to fit 2 24" monitors on it without feeling cramped, so there is good room for keyboard and mouse and there is plenty of room under the desk for my feet. This is easy to assemble and it wouldn't be me if I didn't have to do something twice. The instructions are basic, just make sure you pay attention to the holes, when I got to the last step with the crossbars, I realized I had the shelving backwards of which side I had the desk. I know a lot of office furniture uses allen screws and bolts instead of phillips, and luckily I had a bit for my screwdriver that made assembling this so much easier, I know it wouldn't happen, but an allen bit in office furniture instructions would be awesome. The only took me about 30 min to put together.This is a handy little desk and I like the shelves that come with it. I have it in our sun room and it's a nice little spot to answer mail and keep a few plants. I like to write books so it's a handy spot for me to jot out ideas. I only knocked it one star because the instructions were kind of vague.Built this in about 30 min. It is very sturdy and fits well in my home office! I recommend it highly.Very easy to set up.Also very well and durably madeI really like this desk. There was a chip in the corner but not a big issue. Semi easy to assemble and versatile for the shelves. Perfect my new work from home job.
